Now, I’m no Grinch by any stretch of the imagination, but this is possibly one of the most amazing things I have ever come across.
i thought of you when reading this,
Romance isn’t entirely dead in the animal world, however. Smitten whales behave like lovesick teenagers. When a male and female southern right whale get together to mate they caress, then roll around and embrace, locking their flippers as they go. Next they lie side by side, shooting water out of their blowholes. They end their romantic ritual by diving out of the water in perfect synch.
